Luke Bryan is hosting friends on Sunday (February 2nd) at his Nashville area home to watch the Super Bowl. While he loves both the cities of Seattle and Denver, Luke tells us his money is on the Broncos. “My Super Bowl pick is, Seattle, I love you, but I’m just pulling for Peyton (Manning) on this one. I got to meet Peyton last year, and he’s a great guy. I did a charity concert for him for a hospital and hung with him and I’d love to see Peyton get him one more ring. I truly feel like Seattle is a powerhouse. I mean, I’m excited just to watch the Super Bowl and have a reason to cheer, certainly,’ for Peyton, but if Seattle wins, I’m gonna be like, ‘Hey! Congrats!,’ because they’re just an awesome football team. I’m excited because I have the Saturday off before the Super Bowl, so I get home and kinda get my bearings off the road and get pumped up before the Super Bowl. It’s gonna be fun.”
Luke's That's My Kinda Night tour plays tonight (Friday, January 31st) in Oklahoma City.
  • Luke was nominated for three ACM nods this week for Album of the Year for Crash My Party, Male Vocalist and Entertainer of the Year.
  • He will co-host the ACM Awards with Blake Shelton on April 6th in Las Vegas.

Garth Brooks has still got it! Fans scooped up tickets to his two announced dates at Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland so fast that organizers quickly added a third date. That show, too, was sold out immediately.
More than 10,000 people queued around the country at Ticketmaster outlets, and the entire 240,000 tickets sold out in 90 minutes. This is the first time that an artist has sold out three dates at Croke Park in one day.
Garth will now take the stage at Croke Park July 25-27.
There's no word yet on who will be joining Garth on the bill, but he tells us exclusively that a special Nashville singer/songwriter will definitely be part of the World Tour. "I'm a huge Karyn Rochelle fan. She'll be with us on background vocals, so I would love for her to take a swing at opening this thing up. She's a gift. To introduce her to you, to introduce her to anybody, I'm doing you the favor. This little gal is talented and she is all heart and soul."
Karyn has penned such songs as "Red High Heels", and "Don't You Know You're Beautiful" for Kellie Pickler, as well as "Georgia Rain" and "This Is Me You're Talking To" for Trisha Yearwood.
Garth has yet to announce dates on his upcoming World Tour, but he plans to kick the run off this fall.

Jerrod Niemann will be among the millions of fans tuning in for Super Bowl 48 (XLVIII) this Sunday (February 2nd). Jerrod is a bit torn about who to cheer on this year, but one team does have a slight advantage, as far as he's concerned.
He tells us: “I have learned that it’s such a bad decision to ever choose a team, especially the Super Bowl, because everybody that happens to be a fan of that team gets very upset. But, now that…I prefaced with that: I will say, I don’t have a dog in the fight, but I’ve always been a huge Peyton Manning fan because he’s full of class. He’s a very talented athlete. You know, the Denver Broncos stadium was actually the closest NFL team growin’ up, which didn’t seem right, but it . . . you know, Denver to southwest Kansas, but it was the closest one, so I’ve always appreciated and respected and been of the fan of the Broncos. But I also do like the Seahawks, and I know that they’re an amazing team, and they have a lot of class on their team, too. So, I will be cheering for the Broncos, but once again, I will say that I’m extremely excited to watch the game ’cause I know the Seahawks are absolutely incredible.”
The Super Bowl airs on FOX beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET.
Jerrod’s new album, High Noon, is set for release on March 25th.
The video preview for Jerrod's hit single, "I Can Drink To That All Night":

Miranda Lambert will be joining Jason Aldean on select dates on his upcoming Burn It Down tour. She will take the stage at the baseball stadium shows in Cleveland on July 18th; Cincinnati on July 19th; and Pittsburgh on July 26th.
Other acts on the bill for those shows include Tyler Farr and Florida Georgia Line.
The Burn It Down tour will play in close to 50 cities, wrapping in Dallas on October 25th.
  • Miranda joined Jason last summer during his stadium show at Fenway Park in Boston.

Chris Young has big plans for Super Bowl Sunday (February 2nd). The singer has a short break in his tour schedule so he's heading to Las Vegas with some buddies to take in the game on a big screen at some sports bar on the Strip. Of course, Chris plans to put a little money -- or a lot -- on the game.
He said, “It's a great match up and the Seahawks are strong, but I’m laying a crap load of money on the Broncos. I'm a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan, but early in the season I thought the Broncos would make a run deep run into the playoffs. I have Knowshon Moreno on my fantasy football team. I’ve never spent Super Bowl weekend in Vegas and I’m looking forward to having fun and hopefully, ‘what happens in Vegas doesn't stay in Vegas’ and comes home with me in my wallet."
Chris returns to the road next weekend and joins Dierks Bentley on the Riser tour beginning in May.
His brand new single is called “Who I Am With You.”

As a big football fan, Joe Nichols will be tuning in to watch this weekend's Super Bowl game. He has a reason to root for each team, so he'll be happy either way.
Joe tells us what he really wants is to watch the game played in blizzard conditions: "It should be an interesting game. I heard that's the first time the Number One offense and Number One defense play each other in the Super Bowl in like 25 years, so that's interesting. I think that's the way it should be every year, but I don't know. It's gonna be an interesting game. I'm a big, huge Peyton Manning fan, but then again, my daughter was born in Seattle and she's a big Seahawks fan, so I'm kind of torn. I'm hoping for a good game and I'm hoping for a lot of snow. I know the football players hate this and anybody who actually goes to the game is gonna hate this, but I hope it's like a foot of snow on the ground, cause I don't know . . . There was one game this year, It was like a Detroit-Philadelphia game where it was like a white out, like a blizzard, and it was fun to watch. It looked terrible, like these guys had no idea what they were doing, but I enjoyed it. I was watching it on TV and it was just like this looks like school yard football. It's fun to me, so I hope that happens. It won't. Roger Goodell will probably pay off God for that."
Joe is climbing the charts with his new single, "Yeah."
He recently topped the charts with "Sunny And 75."
  • Joe and his wife, Heather, are expecting their second child together later this year.
  • He also has a teenage daughter from a previous relationship.

Other acts who lent their voices to Elton's classics include Fall Out Boy, Ed Sheeran, and Emeli Sande.

Sarah Jessica Parker may end up achieving Carrie Bradshaw's dreams in real life. Despite Gossip Cop's claim that the story is nothing more than a rumor, Radar Online is reporting that Anna Wintour has supposedly been eyeing the Sex and the City star as her replacement as editor-in-chief at Vogue.
The website spoke to a high-level publishing source who revealed, "Anna is worrying colleagues who believe she has found her true successor in Sarah! It's a surprising idea, but one that is not entirely a joke. Anna thinks Sarah, a fashion icon on Sex and the City, truly has what it takes to step into her shoes and take on a role at Vogue one day." The source added, "Sarah has been consulted on a stunning array of Vogue's big moves over the last several months. She has totally entered the inner circle. Sarah is playing this like she is serious and she wants it -- she is doing her homework and learning the business like never before. It's the fashion equivalent of running for president or getting nominated to the Supreme Court and Sarah is treating it that way!"

  • Elle editor Robbie Myers has supposedly long been rumored to be the one stepping in for Anna after her retirement.

Don't expect to see Zooey Deschanel wearing an outfit because it's part of the latest trend. The New Girl star discusses her fashion rules in the March issue of Lucky magazine and reveals the one thing she thinks nobody over 30 should be wearing.
Zooey tells the magazine, "I like what I like. It has nothing to do with trends or being a slave to fashion. Sometimes things will be in style and they're classic and look great. I think it's important to recognize when fashion has gone to a place that isn't cute. If you look at anyone with great style -- Jackie Onassis, Audrey Hepburn -- they have certain silhouettes that they don't really stray from. It's not like Audrey Hepburn was running around in a bunch of giant shoulder-padded-dresses. She goes on to say, "Fashion is a way of communicating. You're saying, 'Hi world! How are you? This is me today. Take me or leave me!"

  • The 34-year-old also explains, "Daisy Dukes are not for people over 30. I'm just going to go out on a limb and say that right now."

When asked if the shoot was part of Super Bowl commercial or an episode of his web series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, Jerry responded, "It's neither. But it is not not those things either. It's a secret project." After the hosts grilled Seinfeld for more info, he added, "I've gave you more now than I've given anyone. I told you what it isn't, and then I told you that it isn't not that either." He also revealed that there are other Seinfeld characters involved and described the project as "short-ish form" which is coming out "very, very soon."
  • E! News chatted with Julia Louis-Dreyfus about the reunion at the SAG Award where she said, "We sort of did a Seinfeld reunion within Curb Your Enthusiasm back in 2009. We sort of did the anti-reunion on Curb a couple years ago. So I think it went pretty well. I think that we did it."

Jennifer Lawrence's appetite for snack foods almost destroyed her wardrobe while filming American Hustle. The movie's costume designer, Michael Wilkinson, recently revealed to Vanity Fair how Doritos almost ruined the shoot.
Wilkinson explained, "Jennifer Lawrence is a very...let's say...raw and intuitive young lady, and she's not against eating Doritos and snack food in her costume. So we were glad that we had a couple backups." Michael had four different versions of the gown made up for Jennifer to wear.

  • A rep from Frito-Lay addressed the story saying, "Back in the seventies that would have been the experience consumers would have had with eating Doritos, so technically, it would have been factually accurate to have that Doritos cheese problem."

Even though, Judge Harry Connick Jr. gave her a negative review and said "For me it's a no, I just don't think your voice is strong enough." she was still put through to the next portion of the competition.
21 Idol hopefuls received the final golden tickets, totaling 212 contenders that are heading to Hollywood this season.

ITALIAN COURT REINSTATES AMANDA KNOX'S MURDER CONVICTION: An Italian court reinstated Amanda Knox's murder conviction in the 2007 stabbing death of her British roommate in Perugia, Meredith Kercher, more than two years after she returned home to Seattle after her earlier conviction was overturned. The court also increased Knox's sentence by more than two years to 28 1/2 years in prison. The 26-year-old Knox said in a statement that she was, quote, "frightened and saddened by the unjust verdict." She stated, "This has gotten out of hand . . . I expected better from the Italian justice system," blaming, quote, "overzealous and intransigent prosecution," ''narrow-minded investigation" and coercive interrogation. Lawyers for Knox and her Italian ex-boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito, who was also found guilty, said they'd appeal to Italy's highest court. It was the third trial for Knox and Sollecito, after being found guilty in the first and serving four years in jail in Italy, and then not guilty in the second. Legal experts said it's unlikely Italy will request Knox's extradition before the verdict is final, which will take at least a year, but are split on whether the U.S. would comply if an extradition request is eventually made.
U.S. TO SEEK DEATH PENALTY FOR BOSTON MARATHON SUSPECT: Federal prosecutors announced Thursday (January 30th) that they will seek the death penalty against 20-year-old Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. The decision by U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder had been widely expected. Three people were killed and more than 260 wounded in the twin bombings, alleged to have been carried out by Tsarnaev and his 26-year-old brother, Tamerlan, who died in a shootout with police days after last year's attack. Tsarnaev pled not guilty, and legal experts have said the defense may try to save his life by arguing that he fell under the influence of his older brother.
U.S. ACCUSES SYRIA OF STALLING IN REMOVAL OF CHEMICAL AGENTS: The U.S. accused the Syrian government Thursday (January 30th) of using stalling tactics to delay efforts to remove and destroy chemical agents used in the creation of its chemical weapons. Syria agreed to give up the weapons after a chemical attack in August on a rebel-held area led to the threat of U.S. missile strikes. The Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) is leading the mission to eliminate Syria's stockpile by a June 30th deadline, but the process is behind the tight timeline that was set up. Syria has cited security concerns for the delay in transporting the chemicals, but Robert Mikulak, the U.S. representative to the OPCW, dismissed those claims as being, quote, "without merit."

VETERAN CONGRESSMAN WEXLER RETIRING, FLUKE MAY RUN FOR SEAT: Veteran U.S. House Rep. Henry Waxman announced Thursday (January 30th) that he would retire from Congress at the end of his 20th term this year. The 74-year-old California Democrat explained, "After 40 years in Congress, it's time for someone else to have the chance to make his or her mark, ideally someone who is young enough to make the long-term commitment that's required for real legislative success." That person might be Sandra Fluke, the young woman who came to national attention in 2012 when she was denied the opportunity to speak at a congressional hearing in favor of Obamacare's contraception coverage requirements and Rush Limbaugh bashed her, calling her a prostitute and a slut. Fluke, who lives in the Los Angeles area, told Southern California radio station KPCC, "I'm flattered that I'm being discussed as a potential candidate. A number of folks I respect very deeply have reached out today and encouraged me to run. I am strongly considering running."
NAVY VICE ADMIRAL TO BE NAMED NEW NSA DIRECTOR: The Obama administration said Thursday (January 30th) that Navy Vice Admiral Michael S. Rogers would be nominated to become the new director of the National Security Agency and the commander of a new Pentagon unit that directs offensive cyberoperations. Rogers, a cryptologist who's risen to the top of naval intelligence operations, would succeed General Keith Alexander, who's been NSA director for nearly nine years and has announced plans to retire. Rogers must be confirmed by the Senate, and the hearings are likely to go into questions about the future of the NSA and its bulk data collections programs.
SNOWDEN REPORTEDLY FABRICATED IDENTITY OF SENIOR OFFICIALS: One of the questions about NSA leaker Edward Snowden is how he got access to all the classified information he took that he didn't have clearance to view. The Daily Beast yesterday (January 30th) cited someone it described as a U.S. intelligence official familiar with the Defense Intelligence Agency's damage assessment of Snowden's actions as saying they'd concluded that he'd fabricated the identity of more than one "super user," senior intelligence officials who had access to large amounts of classified information. This allowed him to access and take documents that revealed the nature of how the U.S. coordinates its satellite coverage with other large signal collection platforms.
NFL: CONCUSSIONS DOWN 13 PERCENT: The NFL said Thursday (January 30th) that the number of concussions in the league were down 13 percent from 2012 to 2013, attributing the drop to its efforts to better protect players' heads. Using information from team doctors during preseason and regular-season practices and games, the NFL also said there was a 23 percent decrease over the past two seasons in the number of concussions caused by helmet-to-helmet contact. At the same time, Jeff Miller, the NFL's senior VP of health and safety policy, "there's still more to do." Some players have expressed concern that decreasing hits to the head could lead to more low hits and more knee injuries, but Miller said the injury stats for the past three years didn't show an increase in damaged knee ligaments.
NASCAR REVAMPS CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT: NASCAR announced Thursday (January 30th) that it's changing the format of the Chase for the Sprint Cup championship to a winner-take-all elimination system. The field will be expanded from 12 to 16 drivers, and then whittled down to a final four through eliminations after every three races of the 10-race Chase. The remaining four drivers will go into the season finale with an equal chance to win the championship, with the first one to cross the finish line crowned Sprint Cup champion.

HUNDREDS OF SNAKES AND RATS FOUND IN CALIFORNIA HOME: More than 400 pythons -- both dead and alive -- were found in stacked plastic bins at a Santa Ana, California home that authorities are calling a "house of horrors." According to officials, at least 220 of the snakes were dead. The snakes were discovered after a neighbor called authorities to complained about the smell coming from the house. Animal services supervisor Sondra Berg said, "I mean there’s so many dead snakes... ranging from dead for months to just dead. There’s an infestation of rats and mice all over the house. There are rats and mice in plastic storage tubs that are actually cannibalizing each other." Southern California elementary school teacher, William Buchman, was arrested on suspicion of animal cruelty. Buchman said he was involved in a snake-breeding business. (
WANT TO MAKE $9,000 A MONTH BY EATING ON CAMERA? We know this sounds like a really shady ad, but in truth -- a South Korean woman said she makes about $9,300 a month by allowing people to watch her while she eats. 33-Year-old Park Seo-Yoon, a.k.a "the Diva," said she starts eating at 8:00 p.m. and that thousands of people 'tune in' via webcam to watch her. The money comes from her own fans who are making donations so she can continue to keep her channel up and running. Park -- who says that 60% of her fans are female -- explains, "A lot of my viewers are on diets and they say they live vicariously through me, or they are hospital patients who only have access to hospital food so they also watch my broadcasts to see me eat." A spokesman for Afreeca TV -- the company that hosts her stream and several other 'eating room' cams -- says the success is because of three big reasons: "The rise of one-person households in Korea, their ensuing loneliness and finally the huge trend of 'well-being culture' and excessive dieting in Korean society right now." DOG CHARGED WITH ASSAULT FOR BITING MAN'S PENIS: A dog in Nigeria, that bit a bank worker's penis, has been arrested and charged with assault. In addition, the dog's 31-year-old owner was charged with negligence after the victim filed a complaint, alleging that the dog "pounced on him and inflicted deep injury on his penis." The victim said he had trouble urinating after the attack and even had to use a pipe to aid him while going to the bathroom. Just before the dog and his owner were arraigned, the victim accepted the owner's offer to pay for medical treatment. The parties now plan to settle out of court. (UPI)

TEENAGERS SUFFER FROM SEXUAL DYSFUNCTION TOO: Sexual problems are not just for the grey haired folks in Cialis commercials. A Canadian study found that teenagers and young adults also face struggles in the bedroom.  53 percent of boys reported symptoms of a sexual problem, compared to 43 percent of girls.  About 16 percent of the males involved had mild or moderate erectile dysfunction and about 24 percent had low sexual desire.  The most common complaint among the females was difficulty reaching orgasm.  The complaint was more prevalent among 16 and 17 year old girls than the 20 and 21 year olds.   Researchers said it was unclear why so many young people had sexual difficulties. HOT SAUCE SALES SKY ROCKET: Hot sauce is more popular than ever before.  The US hot sauce market has grown by 150% since 2000. The spicy condiment owes its rise in popularity to two main factors - the rise in the country's immigrant population and the increased popularity of hot wings.  The influx of Asian and Latino immigrants, who have a higher tolerance for heat, have helped make spicy food more conventional.  And hot sauces like Sriracha, Tobasco and Frank's Red Hot have been riding on the coat tails of Buffalo wings. VITAMIN E INCREASES SPREAD OF CANCER: Scientists fear that Vitamin E and other popular antioxidant pills may speed the growth of tumors in lung cancer patients.  Researchers at the University of Gothenburg found that when mice in the early stages of lung cancer were given vitamin E, the disease spread more quickly and the rodents died twice as fast.  Experiments on human cells confirmed the findings.  Antioxidants like vitamins A, C and E are commonly believed to protect against several diseases, but this study suggests that once the cancer has already started to develop, antioxidants may speed up its growth by switching off the body's natural defenses.  (Daily Mail)

A CURE FOR PEANUT ALLERGIES?: A new treatment may eventually make peanut allergies a thing of the past.  After five years of trials, British researchers at Addenbrooke's Hospital were able to develop a treatment that allowed allergy sufferers to eat peanuts without any adverse reaction.  Participants ages seven to 17 were each given a sample of peanut protein in powder form and the dosage was increased over six months.  84% of the 99 children involved in the study were able to eat as many as five peanuts a day and more than 50 percent could eat ten.  The treatment is not yet available to the public.  (Telegraph)

SCIENTISTS INVENT STRONGER GLASS: Scientists have found a way to make glass less fragile.  Researchers at McGill University noted that the coating on snail shells protects the brittle chalk layer from breakage and were inspired find a way to reinforce glass.  Professor Francois Barthelat from McGill's Department of Mechanical Engineering explained  “Nacre, or mother-of-pearl, which coats the inner shells, is made up of microscopic tablets that are a bit like miniature Lego building blocks, is known to be extremely strong and tough, which is why people have been studying its structure for the past twenty years."  His research team studied the weak internal boundaries of nacre and recreated it on glass slides using a laser to engrave networks of 3D micro-cracks. These glass slides, the kind used with microscopes, were 200 times stronger than non-engraved slides. (UPI)

KINDERGARTEN WEIGHT PREDICTS FUTURE OBESITY: A child's weight at five-years old can strongly predict obesity later in life.  Overweight kindergarteners are more than four times as likely as average weight children to be obese by the eighth grade.  The study was conducted at Emory University in order to better understand how early childhood obesity begins. Researchers analyzed the Body Mass Index of nearly 8,000 children who enrolled in kindergarten in 1998. At the start of the school year, 12 percent were considered obese and an additional 14 percent were considered overweight.  Of the normal weight children, only 8 percent went on to develop obesity by age 14, while 32 percent of the overweight and obese kindergarteners became obese by the 8th grade. Companies Readying Social Media 'War Rooms' for Super Bowl
The tweet from Oreo when the power went out during the Super Bowl last year -- "You can always dunk in the dark" -- was a big hit and is viewed as a breakthrough moment when companies realized the value of real-time marketing. So this year, reports that several companies are readying so-called "war rooms" to comment and respond on social media to events as they happen during this Sunday's (February 2nd) Super Bowl. Among them:
  • M&M's has Joe Montana on hand to provide analysis of the game while "spokescandy" Yellow will provide some humor. M&M's will also be sending out stop-motion video and imagery on Twitter, Facebook, Vine and Instagram.
  • CarMax will be looking for moments in the game to tag with the hashtag #slowclap, which is affiliated with its Super Bowl TV ad.
  • Toyota will have the Muppets -- who are also appearing in its Super Bowl TV ad -- commenting on the action in real time.
  • Volkswagen will also have a war room looking for moments of opportunity to respond to via social media.
Toronto Mayor Rob Ford Defends Justin Bieber Justin Bieber may be taking a lot of heat right now for his bad behavior and run-ins with the law, including, just over the last week, charges in Toronto for an altercation with a limo driver last month and a DUI and drag racing arrest in Miami. But at least one of his fellow Canadians has his back -- Toronto Mayor Rob Ford, the man who's defined new lows of behavior for a public official, including admitting that he's smoked crack while in what he called a "drunken stupor." During one of his regular call-ins to a Washington, D.C., sports radio show, Ford said, "He's a young guy. I wish I was as successful as he was. He's 19 years old. Think about when you were 19."

Attempt Being Made to Form Labor Union for College Athletes
Northwestern quarterback Kain Colter and the United Steelworkers announced plans yesterday (January 30th) to form the first labor union for college athletes, the College Athletes Players Association (CAPA). Colter called the current setup a "dictatorship," saying the NCAA dictates terms and leaves players with little or no say about financial compensation or how to improve safety, and pointed to the hundreds of millions of dollars generated in revenue by college sports, saying, "How can they call this amateur athletics when our jerseys are sold in stores and the money we generate turns coaches and commissioners into multimillionaires?" The NCAA and the Big Ten Conference both criticized the attempt to form a union, insisting that college athletes can't be considered employees. NCAA chief legal officer Donald Remy said, "This union-backed attempt to turn student-athletes into employees undermines the purpose of college: an education." NCAA President Mark Emmert and others have proposed a $2,000 stipend for each player to help pay for some of their expenses, but critics say that's nowhere near enough, considering that players help bring in millions of dollars to their schools and conferences. CAPA president Ramogi Huma, a former UCLA football player, said a union would help ensure that scholarships, at minimum, cover all living expenses as well as tuition, and would push for full medical coverage that could carry over past college

The Band Perry will perform as part of Sunday's (February 2nd) Super Bowl pre-game show in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The trio will sing at the NFL Tailgate Party, but part of the gig includes getting to see the game.
Between the halftime show featuring Bruno Mars and the big game itself, Kimberly, Reid and Neil Perry are all equally happy. “I think my favorite part of the Super Bowl would have to be the halftime show because I’m always excited to see what kind of stage they’re gonna roll out on and what songs they’re gonna play. (Neil) Even though we’re going to be at the game, I’m going to make sure we have a TV so we can watch the commercials. They’re always the best, they’re so funny and that’s what I’m looking forward to.”

  • The Band Perry are nominated for two ACM awards -- Vocal Group and Video of the Year for "Better Dig Two." The ACM Awards will be held on April 6th in Las Vegas.

Cole Swindell is knocking on the top spot on the country singles charts with his debut single, "Chillin' It." He tells us that immediately after writing the song he knew it had to lead his soon-to-be-released self-titled album. "This was one I just had the title. That's something that me and just people from where I'm from say -- 'Whatcha doin', man?' 'Oh, I'm just chillin' it, you know?.' I was like that'd be a cool title just to write about you and your girl riding around just on the perfect day, you know, and at this point when I wrote this song I certainly wasn't writing it for my first single. I just thought it was a cool title and I took it to my buddy Shane Minor and we finished the first day we wrote it and I honestly called my manager and was freaking out. I just knew inside that this is my song. Like, if I'm gonna do this artist thing this may need to be my first single."
The album, Cole Swindell, will be in stores everywhere on February 18th.
Cole is currently on tour with headliner Luke Bryan.

Cameron Diaz has no interest in thinking outside the bun anymore. The 41-year-old actress appears on the cover of the February issue of Self magazine where she bashes Taco Bell and discusses how she got started on taking her fitness seriously.
Cameron tells the magazine, "I fell into fitness by accident. But it's become something I depend on physically and emotionally. I feel so much more empowered now. I saw a Taco Bell yesterday -- it made my stomach scream. If I had nothing else to do, I would be, like, 'Three bean-and-cheese burritos and give me some nachos with extra cheese sauce!' I would so kill that s**t. But what I've learned is that just 'cause you can chew it and swallow it and poop it out doesn't mean it's food."

  • The Other Woman star goes on to say, "I love the science of the body, and I love to give information and see people utilize it in their own lives. I want women to know that it's never too late to start paying attention to their bodies. Until I started training at 27 for Charlie's Angels, I didn't. I literally quit smoking a month before. I was, like, 'Ugh, I've got to do this training. I guess I should stop smoking now.' We trained eight hours a day, seven days a week for three months, and I was dying. Crying every day. On Monday, I wondered how am I ever going to do this, but soon enough, I had a six-pack. At 27, I wasn't consciously saying, 'I'm doing this for when I'm 41.' But at 41, I'm saying, 'Thank God I started at 27.'"

George Clooney and Sandra Bullock have been trading playful jabs at one another in the media since promoting their film Gravity and the 52-year-old clearly has nothing but love for his co-star. The actor got serious about his admiration toward Sandra in one of Reddit's "Ask Me Anything" sessions on Tuesday (January 28th) where he also revealed which actor he has enjoyed working with most.
When asked if there were any funny moments with Bullock while shooting Gravity, Clooney wrote, "It's tricky cause Sandy drinks so much that oftentimes it's just hard to keep her upright. No, you know, Sandy and I have known each other for over 20 years and we both were struggling actors when we first met. She was dating a friend of mine at the time who's still a good friend of ours. Every time we're together it's funny. She's somebody I adore, really, she's just fun to be in a room with. I'm sure people will assume people aren't quite who they appear to be on screen -- they're shorter or taller or meaner or dumber -- but Sandy is exactly what she appears on screen, an incredibly charming woman who's really just fun to hang out with. Very smart and centered, even though she does drink a lot."

  • George was also asked which actors he has enjoyed working with most to which he replied, "Let me think about this in the best possible way that doesn't get me murdered by all other actors I've worked with. I don't know...I've done 6 films with Damon now, so I guess I do enjoy working with him, though you wouldn't know it. I've been really lucky to work with people who enjoy what they do. I've worked with a couple of turkeys, but I've mostly been really lucky."

Last night (January 29th) on American Idol, the 5th round of the season 13 auditions continued in Salt Lake City Utah.
16-year-old student Austin Wolfe performed Imagine Dragon's "Radioactive". Judge Harry Connick Jr. compared her to Hayley Williams from the group Paramore. Austin received positive reviews and a ticket to the next round. 25-year-old music educator Samantha Calmes performed an original song, but the judges asked that she perform another. She decided to go with the Jefferson's theme song, "Movin' On Up". The panel enjoyed her rendition and she advanced to Hollywood.
24-year-old funeral home singer, Tiquila Wilson, performed Adele's "Someone Like You." When asked how the church felt, that she was singing secular music she replied "I really don't care what they think, I'm here to win American Idol." She received three yeses and advances to the next round. 24-year-old resale clerk Carmen Delgina, daughter of Wonder Mike from the Sugar Hill Gang, performed "Tainted Love". "You have a God given voice, it just was very inconsistent" said judge Jennifer Lopez. After the mixed reviews, she still managed to get the golden ticket to Hollywood.
30 contestants move forward in the competition, which makes a total of 193 singers heading to Hollywood so far this season.
